On November 30, 2022, under the joint witness of the representatives of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (hereinafter referred to as MME) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Electrite Du Cambridge (hereinafter referred to as EDC) of the State Grid Corporation of Cambodia, and Prime Road Power (public) Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as PRAC), the commercial operation test of the 60MW solar power project in Phase I of the 100MW National Solar Power Industrial Park in Cambodia, which was constructed by China CACS Engineering Corporation, officially ended at 18:00 local time.After data accounting, the project successfully passed the commercial operation test at one time.

The commercial operation test has been conducted from November 24 to 30 for seven days. The installed capacity, reactive power and PR were tested and inspected respectively. Data export and calculation were conducted under the joint witness of MME, EDC and PRAC. All three tests passed at one time.

The successful passing of the commercial operation test indicates that the project has officially entered the commercial operation stage, which is a major milestone of the project. After the project is put into operation, the average annual on grid power is 126 million kwh, which is expected to reduce 62,400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.it will strongly promote the local economic and social development and provide technical demonstration for the development of local renewable energy in Cambodia.
