On January 31 2021, Bangladesh Barguna substation constructed by China National Cable Engineering Corporation(hereinafter referred to as CCC), a subsidiary of China CACS Engineering Corporation, successfully realized power on operation under the witness of the owner Bangladesh State Grid Corporation (pgcb). This indicates that CCC has overcome the impact of the epidemic and completed another important performance in the field of power transmission and transformation in Bangladesh.

The project is located in Barisal District in southern Bangladesh. CCC is responsible for the design, supply, installation, test and operation of the project, including 75mva transformer, 132kV incoming line Bay, 132kV transformer high voltage Bay, etc. The smooth energization and operation of the substation provides a stable and reliable power guarantee for local urban construction and residents' life, and will boost the industrial development and infrastructure construction of the region.

In the course of building the project, the Bangladesh project department, while fighting against COVID-19, worked hard to overcome many difficulties such as tight construction period, Yu Ji's long and hurricane attacks. With the spirit of fighting "epidemic situation, ensuring growth and taking courage", the project accomplished its objectives and tasks on schedule.
