On November 26 2021, a grand commencement ceremony was held at the project site under the joint witness of the Thai owner prime road alternative (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and subcontractors for the kampong Chhnang 60MW photovoltaic project undertaken by China CACS Engineering Corporation.

  Kampong Chhnang 60MW photovoltaic project in Cambodia is located 90 kilometers northwest of the capital Phnom Penh, covering a total area of 95 hectares. The construction period is 14 months, providing two-year operation and maintenance services for photovoltaic power stations. The project is the first ground centralized photovoltaic power station in Cambodia to adopt flat single axis tracking system. A total of 1840 flat single axis tracking systems and 142604 double-sided double glass photovoltaic modules are installed. The successful commencement of the project marks a new step in the development of China CACS Engineering Corporation in the field of new energy in Cambodia.

  As the EPC general contractor, China CACS Engineering Corporation is responsible for the design, procurement and construction management of the project. The project is the first new energy photovoltaic EPC general contracting project undertaken by China CACS Engineering Corporation in Cambodia, which lays a good start for the implementation of the renewable energy power business in the 14th five year plan of the company.
